Working on a set of automatic sliding doors for the Hutton Group, who is now a major building contractor working throughout London and the East of England. From complex new multi-million pound projects to large scale new build projects and refurbishments of existing premises for all sectors of business and industry.
On this project, it was for the refurbishment of the East of England Co-op in Sible Hedingham which required us to remove all of the existing shopfront and doors and install a new automatic sliding doors with fixed shopfront screens and a shutter to cover the sliding door entrance for extra security. One of the fixed screens also had to house a cash machine.
The screenwork was split between existing columns which we made bespoke powder-coated steel cladding to match the screenwork colour to give it that nice crisp but yet elegant feel that the co-op required.
